An alumna and participant in Cannes L’Atelier Cinefondation, Berlinale Talent Campus, Torino Film Lab, Locarno Open Doors Hub, EAVE Ties That Bind, Festival des 3 Continents’ Produire au Sud workshop, Fantastic Film School, Pamela L. Reyes is an award winning Filipino Film Producer, Director, Script Consultant and overall creative.

Pamela graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines - Diliman with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications. With a decade of experience in producing and directing films, series, and advertising commercials, Pamela has produced a number of successful films which have reached international heights including "Birdshot", the first Filipino film on Netflix and the Philippines' official entry to the 2018 Academy Awards. “Birdshot” was nominated for the Best Asian Film award by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts and won the Best Asian Future Film award at the 29th Tokyo International Film Festival. Pamela briefly worked as a Creative Producer and Consultant for ABSCBN with Malou Santos (former Managing Director of Star Cinema and former COO of Star Creatives). She previously held the role of Creative Producer under DDB Group Philippines’ Bent & Buzz– a content company providing branded entertainment solutions. Pamela has conducted producing, directing and scriptwriting workshops with various reputable groups and universities including TEDx, Tokyo International Film Festival, Rebelde Film Camp, QCinema, Ateneo, LaSalle, UP Diliman, and the Film Development Council of the Philippines.

Currently, Pamela produces select film projects, both local and international co-productions, under Create Cinema Inc. Pamela is developing her debut feature film “Mysticism” which was a project at the 2019 Southeast Asian Film Lab, Ricky Lee scriptwriting workshop, and won 5 major awards at the QCinema-DGPI pitch. Pamela dreams of fortifying the Philippine film industry as a whole and to champion unique voices in cinema. She has a heart for young up-and-coming filmmakers and genuinely considers mentorship as the most rewarding pursuit.
